Hi there! I’m Nguyen Sy Hung, a high school senior from Vietnam, and I’ve long believed that creativity is inherent in all of us—sometimes, we just need the right outlet to showcase. So this website is my way of showing that creativity, encapsulating my photography, filmmaking, and some personal stories in the last 4 years.

In the Albums page, you’ll find the photos I’ve taken throughout the years of across many provinces and regions in Vietnam. Whether it’s the mighty landscapes of Ha Giang or the mundane everyday life, the photos will give you a glimpse into how I see the world through my lens.

In the Films page, you’ll find some of my proudest filmmaking projects I’ve done (with the help of many others, of course). Here, you’ll find a collection of short films and documentaries that spans many themes—from the stresses of student life, societal pressures to conform to the irony and absurdity of human nature. I just love visual storytelling—there is something powerful when the emotions and messages are conveyed beyond words.

In the Stories page you’ll find my stories—whether it’s weird, quirky, creative, happy, or sad. Many of the stories will be about my filmmaking and photography journeys, but some will be about completely different things! I’ve been carrying with me something to jot my thoughts down over the last 5 years, and this page will be where I refine and “publish” those thoughts to others.
