HA GIANG
Often called by the Vietnamese the "final frontier", Ha Giang is the most northern province of Vietnam, where the limestone peaks, the rice terraces, and the rich cultures of the ethnic minorities blend together, creating a picture-esque beauty everywhere you go.

HA GIANG IN B&W
For this album, I’ve opted to portray all of the photos in black and white. As much as I reveled in the lush green colors of Ha Giang in real life, I used B&W as I wanted to focus on the shapes, curves, and lines of Ha Giang—whether it’s the curvy loops of the Ma Pi Leng or the contrasting layers of the mountains.

INSIGNIFICANT, YET CONTENT
Behold the vastness of Ha Giang, I couldn’t help but feel how small I am and how small my worries and stresses are. It’s a really good reminder that perhaps in this grand scheme of things, nothing really matters. It’s therapeutic. It’s cathartic. It’s contentment. I’ve tried my best to capture this feeling, even with just a 24mm lens.
