It was February 2020, the height of lockdowns. Streets were empty, everyone stayed home, and boredom became a daily routine. To pass time, I started binge-watching Happy Gilmore and Parasite. Most people would’ve done the same with snacks in hand, but somehow, I ended up filming with my iPhone and a few close friends. We tried to recreate scenes we loved—bad lighting, shaky shots, lots of laughter. That small, silly idea was my very first step into filmmaking. Four years later, I still smile thinking about how something that simple could start everything.
